Hi, my name is Lisa Hicks, and I live in Lumberton, Texas. I've lived in Southeast Texas (the "Golden Triangle") for most of my life. In the past, I lived in New Zealand (Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt of the north island) and Newton, Massachusetts (outside Boston). Both of those past living situations were exciting and scary, and I think they're a big part of who I am today.
I created this blog mostly as a sort of digital scrapbook of the projects that I've done, but I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism.
As far as what I do, I'm mostly a homemaker with way too many hobbies and ideas floating around in my head. I enjoy paper crafts, painting, making jewelry, building things, organizing (though our home doesn't necessarily show it), playing video games, reading, writing, going to the movies, and watching TV. I'd say, though, that paper crafts are what I spend most of my time on.
On social media, I'm afraid that I don't have a Facebook page, but I do intend to work on one soon and will post a link as soon as I have one up. I do, however, have an Etsy shop called PecanTreeCrafts (to reflect our Texan-ness) where I sell some of the things my sister and I make, and I'd appreciate it heaps if you'd go and take a look. If there's nothing up right now, there will be soon!
